B1/B2 type training for the Embraer 170 and 190 Our B1/B2 type training consists of both theoretical and practical level 3 training in the areas of electrical systems, airframe systems, powerplants and avionics, and fully complies with EASA Part 147 /Part 66 appendix III requirements.
Target Group
Embraer 170 and 190 maintenance training courses are intended for B1 and/or B2 line and base maintenance technicians. Trainees must also have the knowledge and experience levels required for the corresponding EASA licenses, or equivalent qualifications

28 days
Examination
Closed book examinations will be conducted throughout the course. The minimum passing mark for the exam paper is 75%. Participants will receive a selected type training Part-147 certificate upon successful completion of the course.



Objective
After should type their B1/B2 maintenance training, the trainee be able to:
*Recall the safety precautions
*Provide detailed descriptions of systems
*Structures and powerplants and their interrelationships
*Use, interpret and apply appropriate documentation including the SRM and TSM
*Identify special tooling and test equipment
*Identify the locations of principal components
*Correlate information from various sources for troubleshooting to maintenance manual level
*Describe/perform the procedures for servicing
*Describe/perform typical functional checks as per the AMM
*Describe/perform removal/installation procedures unique to the aircraft type
The above also requires a knowledge of the relevant manuals (such as the maintenance manual, the systems schematics manual the wiring manual and the illustrated parts catalog).

Content
This course corresponds to the theoretical course and enables participants to gain competence in practical Line and Base Maintenance, using a structured learning process. The training will be conducted on the aircraft, in maintenance facilities and in the classroom
Target Group
EASA Part-66 category B1 and B2 or other maintenance staff.
Prerequisites:
EASA Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance License category B1/B2 and successfully completed the appropriate theoretical course on relevant aircraft type and previous practical experience of aircraft/engine of comparable construction and system.

Assessment
Practical training will be documented in the Practical T raining Form (PTF). Practical assessment will be conducted and assigned as “passed” or “not passed



Objectives
Upon completion of the course, the participant will be able to:

*Apply the relevant safety precautions
*Identify and apply aircraft technical documentation
*Name, identify and locate aircraft system Components
*Perform normal operation of aircraft systems
*Perform the servicing and ground handling
*Perform system operational tests and on-board maintenance system supported tests
*Carry out routine thorough visual inspections
*Describe component removal / installation procedures unique to the aircraft type
*Determine aircraft airworthiness in accordance with MEL/CDL, and explain maintenance
*Procedures according to the minimum equipment list (MEL)
*Correlate information for the purpose of making decisions in respect to fault diagnosis and rectification
